ORDERS - Contract of Sale
Carrick Jewellery advertises products on our website as an ‘invitation to treat’. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Carrick UK Ltd. Prices and stock availability will not be confirmed on a contractual basis until you receive our ‘confirmation of order’ email which is dispatched once credit or debit card authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been verified.
These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Carrick UK Ltd, and we may make these changes throughout the working year. Telephone or physical conversations with staff member of Carrick UK ltd do not constitute variation to these terms and conditions, neither do they constitute a legal representation on behalf of Carrick UK Ltd.
CONFIRMATION OF ORDER
Before an order is accepted, Carrick must receive payment in full. Once your payment has been authorised, you will be sent an email receipt confirming the order. Please keep this receipt for your records
COOLING OFF PERIOD
Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order within seven working days of receipt of the goods.
We will be happy to exchange or refund, providing the goods are returned in perfect condition, unworn and in their original packaging. If you need to return an item within the cooling off period please email us sales@carrickltd.co.uk or call +44 (0) 141 248 5114 and you will be provided with a return authorisation reference.

For reasons of hygiene, we cannot exchange or refund pierced earrings.
Purchases made via the Carrick website cannot be returned or exchanged through a Carrick stockist.
RETURNS
Out with the cooling off period, it is not Carrick’s policy to accept goods back for credit or exchange unless the product exhibits some form of manufacturing defect.
If goods you receive are faulty or damaged in transit contact us immediately on the day of receipt by telephone or email advising that the goods were damaged on arrival.
Items will be replaced or refunded provided the damage occurs prior to delivery. Items considered to have been mistreated or damaged through wear and tear after delivery to the Buyer cannot be replaced or refunded.
PRIVACY POLICY
A registration process where the user is required to submit personal information is necessary in order to use some of the facilities on this site. Any personal data gathered by Carrick in your use of this site will be used in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be passed to any third party. The submission of certain information (eg demographic information) is optional but encouraged in order that we may further tailor our products and services to meet your needs.
PRODUCT IMAGES AND DESCRIPTIONS
Carrick work to keep the site up to date ensuring that the information given is as accurate as possible however we reserve the right to change the availability of the pieces featured on the site at any time.
PRICING
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information on the site, mistakes may occur in prices that appear in the online store. Any mistakes highlighted to us will be amended as soon as possible.
Carrick reserve the right to alter prices at any time.
SALES
Goods offered on our Carrick UK site may have been on sale at one of our stockist’s sites, at the higher price for no less than a period of 28 days. Sale items can only be exchanged during the same SALE period of no less than 28 days, and must be returned with proof of purchase.

Therefore download of any materials from the site is for the sole purpose of ordering products from Carrick UK ltd. No right title or interest in any copied or downloaded items are transferred to you by doing so. You may not reproduce any items apart from for personal use.
